I brewed the extract version of the recipe today (it's been nearly 10 years since I've done an extract batch....) just to make sure it comes out great. I used 2 packages of dry Windsor Ale yeast, and will dry hop once primary fermentation subsides. The OG is fairly high (at 1.080). I forgot about the fact that liquid extract actually has volume (about 1gal), so I compensated with a 90min. boil. That said, I ended up with a higher gravity at the end of it. I'm curious to see what other members think about the end result, so will hopefully have the keg ready for the August meeting. Personally... I really wonder how many people actually try their recipes after they've been converted from all-grain to extract. Puttin' my money where my mouth is -- hell, I may have to put my foot where my mouth is!
