Next year’s slate of officers were elected last Saturday night at the Smörgåsbeerd. Durndest thing, though; the new administration looks quite familiar. In fact, the incumbents swept the election (which was predictable since nobody else bothered to throw their hats into the ring). Without further ado, here’s the list:
Czar: Herb Baker
General Secretary: Chris Landis
Ruble Collector: Phillip Kaufman
Commissar Brewski: Donald Sajda
Regarding the appointed roles, however, there has been a small change. Andy Dyer will end his long and much appreciated career as Minister of Propaganda after uncounted years of exceptional service. Andy took the KGB into the 21st century by moving its web content to DotNetNuke, a popular open source content management package. His expertise in web programming will be sorely missed.
Taking over for Andy is Mark Rogerson. Comrade Mark has been doing the newsletter as Minister of Tabloid for the last few years and before that, he held the post of Minister of Propaganda. We’re talking ancient history, folks.
CB Donald Sajda will continue doing double-duty as Minister of War alongside his elected position of Commissar Brewski.
