I'm not seeing any dates for Houston or The Woodlands. Don't tell me it's sold out already! Which venue did you go through - Ticketmaster, etc?

It's not the November 21 show in Dallas, is it?

November 20, Toyota Center, Houston, TX, 8PM.

They're not available yet, except through three places.

  1. American Express cardmembers had a presale that started on the 3rd.
  2. If you registered at RogerWaters.com and got selected in a random drawing, you could buy tickets through that web site starting at 1pm, yesterday. That's how I got mine, I received my confirmation email at 1:01pm. Yes, I was on the goddamn ball. You can only buy a pair of tickets, and they're either $230 or $440 for the pair, depending on the seating. Try registering there, update your cities, and see what happens. I have no idea if it's sold out. I did register for a chance to buy tickets for the Dallas show, but I didn't get picked for that one I did get picked for the one I wanted....LUCKY!
  3. I think you can get in on an I-Tunes pre-sale by buying The Wall, but I'm not sure exactly how that one works.

The rest of the seats go on sale May 10.

Interesting. I got mine from MyTicketIn.com, with a confirmation email and everything. Although they did tell me they wouldn't ship until the beginning of November. If I remember right, thanks to Metallica, a block of seats is given to ticketmaster, another block to eTickets.com, etc. Maybe they're allowed to pre-sell the seats they know they're going to get.

Either that, or I just got scammed for about $100. (nosebleed section, so not the premium seats avaialble to you)

I've read about a bunch of scammers selling tickets to this, but most of the ones I saw were quite a bit more expensive than $100.

My seats are somewhere in sections 112-115. Won't find out where until showtime.

Oops. I just really read the email confirming my ticket order. It says that "exact locations will be sent via email within 6-8 weeks."

Hot dang. When it rains, it pours.

I just got an email from RogerWaters.com about my tickets. Section 113, Row 4, Seats 1 & 2.

Some trivia: I had totally completed my order within one minute of the start of ticket sales and I was order #1933. Jeeze, how fast do you have to be to get in row one?

HA! If it concerned the BBO, it wouldn't be in The Gulag.

Oh, and did you know that, to cajole Waters into joining him for that charity show, Gilmour promised Waters that'd he'd play Comfortably Numb at one of his concerts? They won't say which date it'll happen. I hope it's the Houston one!
