OK, so I'm a little delayed here (hey, work's been tough). I just "roused the yeast", as my gravity was still at 1.050. I'll try and squeeze a few more points out of it.

Regardless, I took a taste of it, and may I be the first to say

Damn, that's gonna be good.

Marc, I think you went to 2ndary too soon. If I were you, I'd consider adding another whopper of a yeast starter...maybe even a well oxygenated one.

Mine is still in the primary. I plan to rack soon, but it still bubbles e-e-e-e-every now and then. The SG on mine was at 1.024 Monday...I think it was Monday.

And yes, it does taste pretty good, even at this early stage.

Well, it started bubbling (rather moderately) immediately after stirring it, so there's still some life in there. I'll let it go another week or so and see how it's doing.

I'm cranking the temp down to 35° when I get home and I'm not even going to look at the SG this time. It is time to move on. I have started planning my next brew and this one is in the way.

Next batch: a dark, Belgiany holiday brew. Belgium Or Bust
