Who’s the has-been, now, huh?

Former Czar Ed Condon won Southern Star’s Pro-Am competition, yesterday. Ed will get to help Dave & Brian brew a brewery-sized batch of his smoked porter, which will be entered in the GABF’s Pro-Am later this year.

Ed Condon

Congratulations, Ed!

Now, how about that recipe, eh? Let's see it!

Hey HBC Ed,

Though I talked to you right after the event, I must post my most sincere congratulations to you too! Though I got there late (honest excuse this time), I heard that the whole contest was like a best of show. Every beer was excellent. There must have been at least 15 beers to get pushed to the final round, and you took it! Congratulations again, my friend!

That said...Snazza Frazza, Ed. Knocked two of my beers out of the final round... I could've been somebody...

Though I didn't get to try your beer, I am sure that it was fantastic. Congrats again...you deserve it!!!!!!!

Cheers!
