Okay I'm going to give my review of Sierra Nevada Tumbler.
Tumbler 2010:
Appearance: Reddish brown with a three finger head that leaves three to four bands of suds. Wisp of bubbles persistent prolonging the somewhat clumpy remains of the head. No noticeable yeast sediment in the bottle leading me to believe that it isn't bottle conditioned.
Aroma: Notes of peat with little to none hops aroma. A hint of toasted malt, but very faint. Nothing really sticks out, except a clean neutral aroma.
Taste and Mouthfeel: Sweet front end with a gentle Carmel/maple flavor followed by a dry hops bite. Carbonation seem faint, even though I can still visually see the bubble and a clump of the original head. After letting it warm up a bit I can taste a slight bit of an almost Orangey Chocolate, but its faint.
Drinkability: The bottle states that it's a 5.5% ale. It doesn't taste it, but it's there. This is a pretty neutral ale.
Verdict: Session beer. This would be a perfect beer to hand to someone to open their eyes and get away from Bud/Miller/Cooler. Is it a bad ale??? Nope. It's well crafted with no flaws. I give it a 'meh' verdict.
