Does anyone have any clone recipes for any of the Saint Arnold beers? I found a guy on another forum that was looking for some. In particular he was looking for Brown, Amber, Christmas, Winter Stout. I'd like to find a recipe for DR#9 and Elissa myself.

Way back in the dark ages, when St. Arnold had just started out, I asked Scott Birdwell for an approximation of the amber. He sat down and wrote it out from memory and said he knew what was in it pretty much from first-hand knowledge. The beer was much hoppier back then, but I bet you could still get Mr. Birdwell to concoct a recipe.

Call Saint Arnolds (or email) them and ask for the recipe. They'll probably give you a good starting point. Plus it never hurts....
