The KGB Presents The 13th Annual Big Batch Brew Bash

The largest single style beer competition in the world will be held Sunday, May 18 at St. Arnold Brewing (2522 Fairway Park Drive). Judging will begin at 9:30 am sharp. Open to the public (food and refreshments will be available) 1:00 pm. Awards and raffle will be held at 2:30 pm.

This year's style is Weizenbock (15 – C). The winner this year will have the opportunity to not only brew a Big Batch of Beer at St. Arnold Brewery, but will have their winning recipe brewed as a St. Arnold Divine Reserve. Deadline for entries is Friday May 11 at:

   Big Batch Brew Bash 12 Results Minimize

Comrades, how about a breakfast of 73 Imperial Stouts? Well, that's what we enjoyed for breakfast at the 12th Annual Big Batch Brew Bash.

There were some incredible examples of this style. A record setting 24 entries advanced to second round judging. Congratulations go to:

  • 1st - Mike Heniff (Foam Rangers)
  • 2nd - Mike Heniff (Foam Rangers)
  • 3rd - Ed Condon (KGB)
  • 4th - Donald Sajda (KGB)
  • 5th - Ed Condon (KGB)
  • Heavy Hitters Award - KGB
