The Big Batch Brew Bash
The Big Batch Brew Bash is the KGB's signature homebrew competition. Begun in 1996, it has grown into the largest single-style homebrew competition in the history of humankind. Impressive, but don't ask for documentation or a certificate from the world record folks at Guinness. It is also noted for being sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association and free to enter.
Any homebrewer can enter up to two beers in the BBBB. They will be evaluated by BJCP-associated judges and fully annotated scoresheets will be returned to the brewer.
The Next Big Batch: Old Ale!
For the 16th Annual Big Batch Brew Bash, we will judge Old Ales (BJCP style 19A). Judging will take place at the Saint Arnold brewery (2000 Lyons Ave.), probably in mid-May, 2011.
Download the entry form for complete details. We'll get the new on up ASAP(racticable).
The Big Batch After the Next Big Batch: Oktoberfest!
BBBB 17 in 2012 will be Okotoberfest (BJCP style 3B). Now that you know, why not brew a test batch or seven?
The Previous Big Batch
The 15th annual Big Batch Brew Bash is history. Seventy English Barleywines were judged and five among them were recognized.

The Ken Rich Memorial Award, which gives $100 to the highest scoring beer for whom this was his first homebrew competition, was awarded to John Cotton of The Golden Triangle Hombrew Club. His beer scored an average of 38.5 points from those who judged his beer.
