The Big Batch Brew Bash
The Big Batch Brew Bash is the KGB's signature homebrew competition. Begun in 1996, it has grown into the largest single-style homebrew competition in the history of humankind. Impressive, but don't ask for documentation or a certificate from the world record folks at Guinness. It is also noted for being sanctioned by the American Homebrewers Association and free to enter.
Any homebrewer can enter up to two beers in the BBBB. They will be evaluated by BJCP-associated judges and fully annotated scoresheets will be returned to the brewer.
The Next Big Batch
For the 15th Annual Big Batch Brew Bash, we will judge English Barleywines (BJCP style 19B). Judging will take place at the Saint Arnold brewery (2000 Lyons Ave.) on May 16, 2010.

New this year is the Ken Rich Memorial Award, which gave $100 to the highest scoring beer for whom this was his first homebrew competition. Congratulations to Javier Peña. His beer scored an average of 41.5 points from those who judged his beer.
